 USB Series User’s Guide 

15. The “Setup Complete” window indicates the necessary files have been copied to your 

computer. Click Finish. The program will attempt to detect your hardware and complete 
the installation process. 

 

16. Several informational windows are displayed informing you on the progress of the 

installation of the modem. 

 

 

Upon completion, there will be a request to reboot for Windows 98, Windows 98 SE, and 
Windows Me. Remove the CD and reboot. 

Win 2000 does not require a reboot. The modem icon, 

, appears in the Task bar and 

a connection icon, 

, appears on the Desktop indicating installation is complete. 

Remove the CD. 

17. Windows 98 WAN and ATM applications will ask you to provide telephone number and 

location information when the computer has rebooted. Enter the information. Click Close.
