Installation Instructions
CAUTION: When installing at height, ensure to follow all required safe installation practices.
Prior to installation ensure that the power is disconnected at the mains to prevent shock or
injury.
1. Unpack LED Batten and discard packaging thoughtfully.
2. Select installation location.
3. Drill two 6mm holes with a 330mm (600mm batten) or 770mm (1200mm batten) distance
between each other into your mounting location and attach the mounting brackets, using
rawl plugs or masonry plugs - as required
4. Open the clips on the batten and remove the diffuser. Securely holding gear tray, remove
as shown in FIG. 1.
5. Loosen the nut of the cable gland and feed the cable through the gland. Connect the cable
to the terminal block, as shown - FIG. 2.
6. Tighten cable gland and fix gear tray to the housing. Close and lock the diffuser - FIG. 3.
7. Mount the batten onto the wall or ceiling and lock in the tamper-proof screws - FIG.4.
NOTE: Ensure that the batten is installed securely and adequately stable.
