On the
Datapoints
tab the data points for the LIOB terminals have been created. These
data points can be used, e.g., in the logiCAD IEC61131 program. For terminal inputs the
data point L1_x_UIy_
Input_Read
will be used to read an input terminal and for terminal
outputs the data point L1_x_DOy_
Output_Write
will be used to set an output terminal.

After downloading the L-INX configuration into the L-INX device, the L-IOB input and
output terminals can be tested with the L-INX Web UI. An example is shown in Figure
37.

5.6 Getting started with logiCAD
For developing IEC61131 programs with logiCAD the following components must be
installed:
1.
L-logiCAD setup package. This package installs the logiCAD software, which is needed
to design PLC programs for the L-INX device.
