3.6 Dismantle the water pump assembly
1. Dismantle bolt A, take out thermostat D.
2. Dismantle bolt F, dismantle water pump assembly,
take out gasket E, cushion block G and gasket H.
A- Bolt
B-Thermostat housing;
C-Thermostat housing gasket;
D- Thermostat;
E-Water pump gasket;
F-Bolt;
G-Water pump flange cushion block;
H-Water pump flange gasket
Attention:
Water pump shall not be dismantled by
non-professionals.
3. Dismantle nut, take out water pump connecting
shaft bearing, water seal.
4. Dismantle water pump impeller by special tool.
Attention: Operate carefully to prevent from dam-
aging impeller.
Be careful while disassembling water seal to avoid
damage.
Water pump connecting shaft bearing shall not be
dismantled by non-special tool.
