INTRODUCTION
The CEI 0-21 and CEI 0-16 standards require an auxiliary power supply that supports the interface
protection (IP), the interface switch (IS) and a back-up switch (if any) in the event of a power failure.
PMVFUPS01 guarantees the necessary energy by accumulating it in capacitors, thus avoiding the
use of batteries which require maintenance.

Attention! Voltage on terminals even if the device is switched off. The device remains
charged approximately 2 hours without power supply. A red LED close to CAP terminal
indicates the voltage presence.
Attenzione!! Tensione presente sui terminali anche a dispositivo spento. Il dispositivo
rimane carico approssimativamente per 2 ore senza alimentazione. Un LED rosso vicino al
morsetto CAP indica la presenza di tensione.

INSTALLATION
± Connect the auxiliary power supply of the interface protection (IP) to the "IP power supply" terminal.
± Connect the coil of the interface switch (ISWRWKH³,6´WHUPLQDOLQVHULHVZLWKWKH relevant control
contact of the IP.
± Connect the coil of the backup device to the "Backup" terminal in series with the relevant control
contact of the IP.
± Leave the CAP terminal not connected.
± Connect the auxiliary power supply of PMVFUPS01.
± Fuses are internally installed for the auxiliary power supply and for the power output.
± The device requires 15s to be charged again.
