to the rear of the spa and below the “Safety Stop”.

Then Position the Swing Arm

 on the Boss.

Make certain the extended portion of the Swing Arm is

positioned towards the interior of the spa (See Fig 6).

Over the Swing Arm, position the second Teflon Washer

IMPORTANT NOTE:

If the length of the cover on the side you are installing the swing arm is less than 78” then you may need

to cut the Swing Arm using a tube cutter. If cutting is required make certain to measure and allow

approximately 4” of Swing Arm to pass into the Crossover Bar so that the Swing Arm is visible through

each of the pre-drilled holes in the Crossover Bar.

Step 6 – Position “Crossover Bar”

Slide the shorter side of the Crossover Bar over the Swing Arm at a point where the longer side of the Crossover Bar lies

along the hinge of the Cover. Do not secure the Crossover Bar to the Swing Arm at this time (See Figure 7).

Step 7 – Position “Extension Tube”

Put a pencil mark at the center of the Extension Tube

E

and slide it partially into the previously installed Crossover Bar

leaving it unattached. The pencil mark will assist you later in positioning the Extension Tube equally between both sides

(See Fig 7).

Step 8 – Position 2nd “Crossover Bar”

Slide the 2nd Crossover Bar into the other side of the Extension Tube making certain that the pencil mark on the Extension

Tube is centered between each Crossover Bar (See Fig 7). Again continue to leave all parts unsecured at this time.

Step 9 – Install 2nd “Swing Arm”

Slide the 2nd Swing Arm into the short side of the 2nd Crossover Bar until the Swing Arm is positioned over the Boss on the

Mounting Bracket. Secure the Swing Arm on the Boss just as it was done on the 1st Swing Arm in Step 5. Again be sure to

tighten the 5/16 Hex Bolt well enough to compress the Lock Washer (See Fig 6).
