7 | Cleaning
Clean your textile (not leather) backpack by hand using warm, mild soapy water. Leather surfaces can
be cleaned with a special cleaner, e.g. saddle soap. Never use harsh cleaning products or the like.
Textile proofers from the Louis range can be used to weatherproof the backpack and restore its water-
and dirt-repellent properties.
8 | Disposal
Packaging disposal
Please separate and dispose of the packaging appropriately. Dispose of cardboard and cardboard
boxes with waste paper and dispose of plastic film with recyclables.
Do up the chest strap and adjust as
required. The chest strap gives you
greater freedom of movement, stabilises
the carrying system and helps to
prevent fatigue. It also improves safety
on your motorcycle.
Adjust all adjustable closure straps
so that the backpack is quite rigid,
sits firmly against your back, and does
not flap about when you ride your
motorcycle.
Do up the hip belt – it should be at the
level of your hip bones. Adjust the hip
belt to suit your hip size
Adjust the length of the shoulder straps
so that the backpack is positioned
comfortably on your back.
