Daily Checks

Check the operation of the: 

 

– Exterior lights.

 

– Horn.

 

– Turn signals.

 

– Windscreen wipers.

 

– Windscreen washers.

 

– Seat belts.

 

– Braking system including parking 

brake.

 

– Park Assistance Systems

Also check:

 

– Warning lamps or alert messages on 

the instrument panel.

 

– Fluid deposits underneath the 

vehicle that may indicate a leak, 

(water drips from condensation 

on the air conditioning system are 

normal).

 

– The exterior of the vehicle and 

immediately remove any corrosive 

substances to prevent damage to the 

paint (see page 230).

Regular Checks

It is recommended to regularly check, 

and where necessary top up or adjust 

the following items:

 

– Engine oil

 

– Coolant level.

 

– Brake fluid level. 

 

– Windscreen washer fluid level.

 

– Park Assistance System sensors and 

camera for dirt, snow or ice.

Also check:

 

– Tyre pressures and condition.

 

– Operation of the air conditioning.

 

– Wiper blades.
