5. Transducers
The transducer is a device that transmits and receives sound waves into the
water. The active component inside the transducer is commonly referred to
as an element but actually is a piezoelectric ceramic material.
Please refer to installing instructions of the transducer manufacturer.
NOTE In the following tables, related to the transducer functions in the "Funct."
column, these abbreviations are used: D = Depth, S = Speed and T = Temperature.
