3. Install the firebacks following the directions below.
564 HO Installation (Ember-Fyre and Dancing-Fyre Only)
These firebacks are installed at the same time as the burner (see burner instructions). Make sure to use
the revised hearth plate (250-03768) when using the black glass firebacks. Install the new hearth plate
BEFORE installing the side and rear fireback. The firebacks rest on top of the new hearth plate.
On older 564 fireplaces the glass clip is not long enough to contact the side firebacks. For these
fireplaces you can order new clips (250-04787) or bend the existing clips outwards as shown below.
4. Restore the fireplace to the correct configuration.
Place the rear fireback in place. The side
fireback holds the rear fireback in place -
hold the rear fireback while installing the
side fireback.
Remove the clips located on the
firebox ceiling near the front (both
sides). These clips have keyhole
slots that allow removal by
loosening the screw and sliding
the clip out.
Place the side firebacks
in place.

into place while installing.
