AEROFLAT BAR STARTERS
AEROFLAT BAR handlebars are reversible, thus allowing two height settings for the starters. Prior to
adjusting the extensions, it is advised that you specify the mounting direction of the handlebar, and mount
it once routing has been realised.
The length of the starters can be shortened by cutting.
(Cf. CUTTING TIPS section, page 9).
ADJUSTMENT OF THE ARM RESTS
You can adjust your arm rest by means of a translational movement
in 3 directions, as well as a rotational movement in two directions:
- Front < > Back ("Armpad Reach")
- Left < > Right. ("Armpad Width")
- Up < > Down ("Armpad Stack")
- Interior < > exterior toe-in ("Armpad toe-in")
_ Horizontal < > tilted ("Armpad tilt").
Adjustment of the "Armpad reach" extension
It is possible to extend/retract the arm rest over a total range of 55 mm.
To adjust it, all that is required is that you loosen the screws
(18), adjust the position, and retighten the
screws to a torque of
8Nm.
The plates
(11) have a mark to show their position on the scale marked on the arm rest (2).
Important : All of the M5
countersunk head screws
(17-18-
19-20) must first be covered with
a drop of normal thread locker
(
Loctite blue 243
or equivalent)
with a Torx T25 key to a torque of
8Nm.
Note : If you cannot manage to achieve the correct position, it is possible to use a stem of a
different length.
