Date correction

Pull the crown out to position

2

. Turn the crown

quickly either way, to move the hour hand forward

or backward in successive one-hour steps, without

affecting the minute and seconds displays.

When the hour hand passes midnight, the calendar

will automatically display a new date - either the next

day or the previous day, depending on the direction

of correction. Hence there is a limit of +/- 1 day, so

as not to disrupt the perpetual calendar. Push the

crown back into position

1

.

End of life (E.O.L.)

and end of energy (E.O.E.)

The watch indicates that the battery is reaching

its end of life via one of its hands jumping every

5  seconds. After approximately six months in this

mode, the watch will switch to E.O.E. mode: the

hands will stop at 12 o'clock. If the watch battery

is replaced in E.O.L. mode or within six months of

switching to E.O.E. mode, you will not need to adjust

the perpetual calendar. If however the battery is

replaced after this period, an approved watchmaker

will need to program the perpetual calendar.

Chronograph function

(partial times)

Used for measuring successive events, but not the

intervals between them. Each result is automatically

added to the preceding one. To time the various

stages of a car rally, for example, follow the

procedure below:

At the start of the first stage, press push-piece

2

the chronograph will

start

.

At the end of the first stage, press push-piece

2

again: the chronograph will

stop

. Repeat for each

stage of the rally. At the end of the final

First use

THE WATCH IS DELIVERED IN "ENERGY SAVING"

MODE The watch hands are factory-set to 12 o'clock,

and the crown is held in position

2

 by a black clip

removed before first using the watch. Check with

your retailer that this operation has been performed.

If not, follow the procedure below: Remove the

black clip to release the crown. Push the crown back

into position

1

; the watch is automatically set to the

Swiss time and date. You can then set the local time

(refer to the "time-setting" section).

IMPORTANT

If the crown is pulled out to position

2

 for more than

60 seconds, the watch will automatically revert to

"energy saving" mode, and the hands will return to

12 o'clock.

Time-setting

Pull the crown out to position

2

. Turn the crown

either way to the desired time display. ROTATE THE

CROWN SLOWLY to set minute by minute – the

second hand will automatically return to 12 o'clock.
