. Turn the crown
quickly either way, to move the hour hand forward
or backward in successive one-hour steps, without
affecting the minute and seconds displays.
When the hour hand passes midnight, the calendar
will automatically display a new date - either the next
day or the previous day, depending on the direction
of correction. Hence there is a limit of +/- 1 day, so
as not to disrupt the perpetual calendar. Push the
crown back into position

End of life (E.O.L.)
and end of energy (E.O.E.)
The watch indicates that the battery is reaching
its end of life via one of its hands jumping every
5 seconds. After approximately six months in this
mode, the watch will switch to E.O.E. mode: the
hands will stop at 12 o'clock. If the watch battery
is replaced in E.O.L. mode or within six months of
switching to E.O.E. mode, you will not need to adjust
the perpetual calendar. If however the battery is
replaced after this period, an approved watchmaker
will need to program the perpetual calendar.
