6.2 After the warning light is installed well, user can press “POWER ON/OFF” to turn on the light.
6.3 Normally the first function is controlled by light-sensitive system. The light will automatically turn on and output flashing signal
repeatedly in the night and poor visibility weather. When visibility of weather becomes good in the day, light will turn off automatically.
6.4 Except the first function, the other functions will keep working unless user press “POWER ON/OFF” switch on light to completely turn off
the light or press “FUNCTION SWITCH” on wireless remote to OFF on standby.
6.5 The continuous working hours of steady light are not more than 12 hours in order to ensure the normal life of battery.
6.6 The battery will be recharged by solar and wind powers all day whatever the light is working or not. So the light has enough power to
work at any time.
6.7 The maximum functional distance of wireless remote is normally over 30m without any obstacle between light and remote. When the
indicating LED on remote become weak, user should buy new battery to replace and assemble the remote well.
6.8 Normally each remote matches its light. But if the old remote is lost or broken, the user can just buy new remote to match the old light.
The operation is very easy.
6.8.1 First, use one hand to keep pressing “FUNCTION SWITCH” on remote and point the light;
6.8.2 Second, use the other hand to press “POWER ON/OFF” at the bottom of light to turn on the light. After two seconds, the new
remote will match the old light.
6.8.3 Third, press “FUNCTION SWITCH” on remote and change the functions. It should be all right.
7. Maintenance:
LONAKO marine warning lights are maintenance free, but the following checks should be done:
7.1 Keep the original packaging of light well and do not put heavy goods on light during storage.
7.2 Battery must be recharged at least one time within 3 months during storage in order to ensure its normal life. If the light is stored over
3 months, user should put the light under sunlight to recharge the battery for at least 8 hours.
7.3 Inspect and clean the solar panel and light sensor each 6 months in order to ensure the efficiency of absorbing sunlight and sensitivity
of distinguishing visibility.
