Quick Setup Guide
To setup a new product is is necessary to edit, learn and run the new product. To do this, goto the
Mimic Screen, then touch on the product.
1. Select the product number you wish to setup from the list.
2. Select the edit option - enter all of the requested product details. For help on what values to enter,
refer to the help screen. Save your settings.
3. Touch the product again.
4. Select the name/number you are setting up.
5. Select the learn option. Follow the on-screen instructions.
6. Touch the product again.
7. Select the name/number of the product you have setup.
8. Select the run option.
The machine will now be running the new product you have setup.
If you subsequently wish to edit any of the settings, re-learn the product or run a new product, you
can touch on the product and just select the edit, learn or run option as appropriate. Hot key access
is also available to these functions from the Run Screen as described earlier in this supplement.
End User Licence Agreement
The software used within the IQ³+ Metal Detector is protected by copyright laws and international
copyright treaties. The software in the IQ³+ Metal Detector is licensed not sold.
1. Grant of Licence:
Spectrum Inspection Systems shall at all times have and retain title and full ownership of all
software, fi rmware programming routines, and documentation thereof supplied by Spectrum
Inspection Systems for use with the equipment, and of all copies thereof made by Buyer
(collectively “software”).
Spectrum Inspection Systems grants Buyer a non-exclusive and non-transferable license to use
such software solely for use with the equipment.
Buyer shall take all reasonable steps to protect Spectrum Inspection Systems proprietary interest
in the software and shall not transfer or otherwise provide or sub-licence the software to any third
party.
2. Rights and Limitations:
The software is licensed as a component within the IQ³+ Metal Detector only, and may not be
separated for use elsewhere.
The software is licensed with the IQ³+ Metal Detector as a single integrated product. The software
may only be used with the IQ³+ Metal Detector.
You may not rent of lease the software.
You may permanently transfer all of your rights under this EULA only as part of a sale or transfer
of the IQ³+ Metal Detector, provided you retain no copies, you transfer all of the software and
the recipient agrees to the EULA.
