Safety instructions for maintenance and inspection

• The user must ensure that maintenance, inspection and assembly are carried

through by authorised and qualified persons, who, after careful reading of this

instruction manual, have sufficient knowledge.

•

Work must only be carried through, when the machine is switched off. The

procedure for stopping the machine as described in the instruction manual

must be followed strictly.

• For maintenance with the raised carriage/equipment, secure with suitable

support elements.

•  Use only suitable tools and wear gloves, safety shoes, helmets and glasses.
•  Proper dispose of oil and grease.
•  Immediately after completed work, all safety and protective devices must be

fitted and reactivated.

Safety instructions for responsible operator/user:

• The user has to be familiar with equipment, control elements and functions,

before starting work. When the work has started, it is too late.

• The clothing of the user must be sealed (avoid loose clothes). Check the working

area before starting.

•  Provide an adequate view of the working area.
•  Sitting/standing on the machine during transport and work is not allowed.
•  Before leaving the machine, lower the carriage/equipment and remove the

ignition key (if the machine has a key).

• The brake must be activated.
