Bake
This function is ideal for all types of fish, stuffed vegetables, cakes with whipped egg-
whites and cakes that require a long cooking time (over 60 mins). It is recommended to
preheat the oven before putting in the food.
1. Place the baking pan on the wire rack in guide 3.
2. Turn the function selector control to the “
” position.
3. Select the required temperature by turning the thermostat control.
4. Turn the Timer control to the “
STAY ON
” position.
5. After pre-heating the oven for 5 minutes, place the food inside.
6. When cooking is complete, turn the Timer control manually to the “
OFF
” position.
Toast
Use the Toast function for foods such as corn on the cob, toasting bread and baking
cookies.
• The dimensions of the wire rack allows for four slices of bread to be toasted at the same
time.
• To automatically toast frozen bread, sandwiches, muffins and waffles, always use the
wire rack.
• When toasting the bread, place the slices as shown below:
1. Place the wire rack in guide 2.
2. Place the bread to be toasted in the center of the wire rack. Close the door.
3. Turn the thermostat control to the “
250°C
” position and the function selector to the
“
” position.
4. The Timer control should be turned clockwise. When using the appliance for the first
time, turn the Timer control to a medium value. Toast a few pieces of bread to check
the set level. If necessary, adjust the control as desired.
5. When toasting bread, both the top and bottom heating elements are on so both sides
are toasted at the same time. A little condensation may form on the inside of the glass
door. This is normal. It will disappear during toasting.
6. An audible sound indicates the end of the set time and the heating elements will
automatically switch off. Turn the thermostat control to the “•” position.
