Automatic switch off
If the power level has not changed during operation, the heating element is
automatically switched off after a certain period of time. The maximum period of
operation depends on the power level selected and is indicated in the table.
STOP & GO Activation (Pause)
The Stop & Go or "Pause" function allows a temporary pause of the cooking pro-
cess, enabling users to answer the door or the phone without worrying about food
boiling.
This function is also useful for cleaning the surface of the user interface without
changing the cooking settings.

Thermal protection of the control panel
If the control panel temperature exceeds 96°C, it switches off the nearest heating
element indicating it with the "H" insertion.
The element can only be reactivated if the temperature falls below 89°C.
This is a safety measure to protect the hob.
Protection of accidental key activation
With the hob on, if any key is pressed for more than 7 seconds, the touch control will
warn the user with a sound and if the user keeps the key(s) pressed for a further 7
seconds, the touch control automatically turns off the hob.
With the cooking hob switched off, if all the key(s) are pressed every 8 seconds, the
touch control will emit an audible warning.
Depending on which key or keys are tapped, a message appears on the display to
the right.
