Reference TV Floor Panel
Cable laying
Get the cables you need ready.
Make sure that you use a soft underlay (
fl eece from the packing
material or a blanket) to avoid damage.
Push the cables that you need into the mounting column with
the connection side (not required for the TV set) into the cable
opening (arrow J).
The length of the cable which sticks out of the top of the bea-
ring column to the TV set should be approx. 50 cm.
Lift the cover over the
fl oor plate slightly (approx. 10 cm). To
avoid damage, the fl oor stand may not be tilted on the edge line
(arrow K) of the cover.
Tilt the
fl oor stand slightly backwards on the fl oor plate. The
second person must hold the fl oor stand in the tilted position.
The bottom of the fl oor plate and the hole in the mounting
column are then free. Pull the cables out of the bottom of the
mounting column to the connection length required on the TV
set.
Feed the cables through the recess in the
fl oor plate further back
to the connections.
Place the
fl oor stand back on the fl oor plate.
Lower the cover onto the fl oor plate.
Plug the angled plug of the control cable for the Reference TV
Floor Panel into the socket on the mounting column.
Connect the free end of the control cable later with the connec-
tion socket on the TV set,
fi g. 13, arrow. The control cable serves
to transmit the rotational movement (rotation pulses).
