Ambulatory Data Recorder
The CorTemp ambulatory data recorder wirelessly picks up
the signal from the CorTemp core body temperature sensor,
converts the sensor’s signal into digital format for display
and storage.
Data can be viewed in real-time or downloaded later for
analysis in Excel spreadsheet format or through CorTrack
data-graphing software. The unit can be worn by the person
for continuous monitoring or can be used to take random,
manual readings.
Core Body Temperature Sensors
Monitors core body temperature continuously as it travels
through the digestive system. While inside the gastrointestinal
tract, the internal crystal sensor vibrates at a frequency relative
to the temperature of the substance (body) surrounding it,
producing a magnetic flux.
The sensor wirelessly transmits the core body temperature
signal harmlessly through the body to the CorTemp Ambulatory
Data Recorder worn on the outside of the body.

Options
Data Recorder Alarm
Detects high and low temperature and heart rate settings in
the CorTemp Data Recorder. The LED illuminates and the unit
emits an intermittent audio signal when subject’s temperature
falls below or rises above set parameters.
Connects to the serial port of the CorTemp Data Recorder.
RF Remote Unit for Data Recorder
Companion to the CorTemp Data Recorder, this RF transceiver,
connects into the serial port of the data recorder enabling the
recorder to transmit its data in real-time to a remote central
monitoring station.
Transmission range -100m.
RF Central Base Station
The RF Central Base Station is capable of receiving signals
from up to 20 CorTemp data recorders.
Interfaces with conventional PC platforms.
System includes CorTrack basic graphing/trending software,
PC interface cable and power supply.
Digital HR/Temp to Analogue Converter
Converts temperature and heart rate digital signal output from
the CorTemp Data Recorder to a continuous analogue signal.
May be used with most data acquisition systems.
Choice of Fahrenheit or Celsius temperature settings.
Output voltage between 0-5 volts.
System includes two BNC connector style cables,
4m data cable and power supply.
RS232 PC Serial Cable
Links the CorTemp Data Recorder to the serial port of a PC.
