A127 - Problem During Dropping Fingers Rising
PROBLEM DURING
DROPPING FINGERS
RISING!
POSSIBLE CAUSES:
-MECHANICAL OR
PNEUMATIC PROBLEM
-SWITCH SQ7 MISSING
OR SQ6 PRESENT

Description:
The Problem During Dropping Fingers Rising alarm occurs during the loading cycle, while the bar dropping fingers are in the up
position and input signal (I1.1 – SQ7) does not turn on or if input signal (I1.0 – SQ6) does not turn off.
Solution:
Press the HELP key. Press F4 (Page Down icon) twice.

ƒ Check for a mechanical obstruction which may be keeping the
dropping fingers from rising.
ƒ Check for a pinched air line going to the lifting cylinder.

Alarm needs to be cleared. Press the STOP key on the remote
control station to clear the message and reset the alarm.

ƒ Check the adjustment of switch SQ6.

ƒ Check for a mechanical obstruction which may be keeping the
dropping fingers from completing its full stroke.
ƒ Check for a pinched air line going to the lifting cylinder.
For case 2, after the solution has been completed, press the STOP key on the remote control station to clear the message and reset
the alarm.
