As the system runs, data will be transmitted to the Client computer in the
FireSync
Result Format . The general format is described in the Host Protocol Reference Manual
on page 28. Refer to 6.4.4, 6.4.5 and 6.3.6 for detailed information on how the data can
be interpreted in the various operation modes.
6.3 FireSync Client
FireSync Client (kClient.exe) is a software application that can be used to set up,
demonstrate or diagnose the operation of the scan 24x0 system. The following
sections describe the most common activities performed with the FireSync Client
application.
6.3.1 Installation
The FireSync Client application is available for Microsoft Windows XP and Windows 7.
Obtain the software from LMI Technologies and install it on a suitable Client Computer.
6.3.2 Connection
After starting FireSync Client, use the lightning (left-most) icon in the toolbar to display
the “
Connect
…”
dialog. To connect to the, enter the public IP address of the machine
running FireSync Station
and then click “
OK
