In the event of a valve fault alarm, check that the
white knob is pressed down on the electric valves,
and that the cable for the cold and hot water valves
is connected to the correct contact in the master
unit. If a electric valve for hot water is connected,
DIP switch no. 6 must be in the ON or OFF posi-
tion. The valve is monitored. Test by opening and
closing it a few times. Reset an A-alarm by holding
down the Open or Close key on the master unit
for 5 seconds.
B-alarms
If a communications alarm is displayed on the
master unit. Find the unit with a communication
fault. Bring it closer to the master unit or connect it
to the master unit using a bus cable. This is shown
on the leak detector when the right diode flashes
A communication alarm will reset when the unit
regains contact with the master unit. Press one
of the keys on the unit to send data to the master
unit and to check whether the communication is
working.
A battery alarm can be due to low battery level in
one of the leak detectors. This is shown when the
left diode on the leak detector flashes red. Find the
unit that has low battery and replace the battery.
Following a B-alarm for communication or battery,
the alarm will automatically reset when commu-
nication is working again or a battery is replaced.
Expanding the system
To add one or more units to the system, refer to
Starting the System in this guide, or the Quick
Guide.
Removing units from the system
If removing a unit from the system, the system will
have to be reset. Refer to Resetting the System. The
relevant units can then be reprogrammed.
Resetting the system. Reset the system to default
settings on the master unit as follows:
1. Disconnect power to the master unit.
2. Press the Timer key.
3. Reconnect the power at the same time as hold-
ing down the Timer key. The unit will flash during
reset. Continue to hold down the key until all three
diodes are on. Reset is now complete.
Only the master unit needs to be reset. Leak detec-
tors cannot be reset. Once the master unit has been
reset to default settings, the system can be repro-
grammed according to Starting the System in this
guide.
Manually opening/closing
A electric valve can be forced open by lifting and
turning the white handle (1) until the status indica-
tor (2) indicates the valve is open. Press the handle
down again. Closing can be achieved in the same
way. Turn the handle until the status indicator dis-
plays closed.

Operation and maintenance
Check system function after installation and once
every year. Test leak detectors by moistening the
sensors.
The unit and master unit will set off a visual and
audible alarm and the electric valve should shut
off. Reset the alarm by drying the sensor. Then
press the red key on the underside of the leak
detector. Hold the Open or Close key for 5 sec-
onds on the master unit or control panel to reset
the alarm.
