CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Before cleaning, disconnect the mains plug from the socket and allow the iron to cool down sufficiently.
1. Wipe the soleplate with a damp cloth and a non-abrasive (liquid) cleaner.
2. If fibres stick to the soleplate, use a toothpick. Do not damage the surface of the soleplate.
3. Never use strong acid or alkali to avoid damaging the soleplate.
4. If deposits are blocking the steam hole of the iron soleplate, remove them with a damp cloth and vinegar.
5. Place the iron vertically and allow it to cool sufficiently. Pour the remaining water out of the container and set the
steam selector to „no steam“.
NOTE: Deposits or minerals in the water will cause scale to form and block the steam holes. It is therefore advisable to
use distilled water.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem
Possible reason
Possible solution

Continue ironing in the horizontal
position and wait a while before
using the (vertical) steam burst
function again
