1)
Attach four 5 1/4” Mattress Rails (E) to the posts of the Bottom ends (C) with
16
lag bolts and
16
washers and tight
en.
Be sure the posts (legs) have the dowel holes UP for this step!
2)
Attach two 5 1/4" Mattress Rails (E) and four 3 1/2" Guard Rails (F) to the Top Ends (D) with 24 lag screws and 16
washers and tighten. Be sure the posts (legs) have the dowel holes DOWN for this step!
3)
Roll out Twin Slat Kit on Support Cleats of Mattress Rails on Top Bunk assembly, and stretch end to end. Secure with
4 Wood Screws at each end of the two outermost slats. One in each corner of the bed. Center the three individual slats
in the 3 built in gaps in the Slat Kit, and secure with 6 wood screws, at each end of the individual slats.

Repeat step for the bottom bunk, starting with the very bottom bed surface, at the floor.
5)
Repeat step 3 for the middle bed surface.
6)
Place the 4 Wood Dowels in the holes of the bottom bunk assembly, and lift the top assembly to stack. Be sure that the
dowels slide into the holes at the bottom of the Top end assembly.
7)
Place
a mattress not to exceed 7" thick in the bottom and middle bed surfaces, and not to exceed 10" in the top bed and
sleep well!
