Instructions
Please read these instructions and warnings carefully before operating to ensure safe
and satisfactory operation of this product.
Please also retain these instructions for future use.
Warnings:
•
This is a Class II product and does not require an earth connection.
•
Always use the correct type and wattage of bulb.
•
When changing a bulb, always switch off the light at the wall socket and allow the bulb
to cool down before handling.
•
Dispose of old bulbs carefully.
•
Do not switch on the light until the installation is complete.
•
Do not cover the lamp or bulb during use as this could be a potential safety hazard.
•
Turn off the appliance when not in use.
•
The luminaire is not intended for use by children unless suitable adult supervision is
provided.
•
Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the luminaire.
•
The fitting is intended for indoor use only.
•
If the external flexible cable or cord of this luminaire is damaged, it shall be exclusively
replaced by the manufacturer or his service agent or a similar qualified person in order
to avoid a hazard.
•
To prevent damage to the mains cord, do not let it pass over sharp corners, edges or
hot surfaces.
• This lamp should only be used on a flat and stable surface.
• This lamp is not intended for use by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance, by a person responsible for
their safety.
• Never touch the bare bulb with your bare fingers or hands.
• Grease or oil from fingers can damage the bulb and cause the bulb to burn out, reduce
its operating life, or for halogen bulbs explode. It is recommended to use soft cloth or
facial tissue when handling the bulb.
CAUTION:
Ensure that the light bulb is not within the recommended 0.5m of any surface
when operating as this could be a potential safety hazard.

Never exceed the bulb wattage stated.
