Troubleshooting
Client is not receiving
Realtime
or is receiving an
Error
•
Ensure the client is connected to the correct wireless network
[SSID: LIVEDEPO12345].
•
Ensure the LocalRealtime™ within StenoDirectPlus is activated and a temporary
password has been assigned.
•
Ensure the device (or computer) is not hibernating (in sleep mode). If so,
wakeup the device and then reconnect.
•
Ensure the
Realtime
client did not leave the proximity of the LocalRealtime™
router. If so, reconnect to the wireless network [LIVEDEPO12345], then
reconnect to the stenographer’s feed.
Time Stamps Do Not Match CaseView Protocol
•
Ensure the CaseView protocol is set so that the
Realtime
output is timestamp
activated.
No Wireless Network Present or No Connection Available
•
Ensure all devices are powered on and properly connected.
In some cases, the following may appear in the computer’s system tray:
“Limited or No Internet Access” does not necessarily mean that the client is not
connected. Please note that clients connecting to the LocalRealtime™ router will not
be connected to the Internet unless the LocalRealtime™ router is connected to the
Internet
