Activating the Bridge Function

Deactivating the Bridge Function

Bridge Function
Both cooking zones are
operated simultaneously on
the same power stage when
the
bridge
function
is
activated.
The
bridge
function is used for example
when
using
casserole
dishes or fish pans with a
length
of
more
than
350 mm.
Place the cookware
in the centre of both
connected
cooking
zones. If one cooking
zone is not sufficient-
ly covered, e.g. the
cookware is placed
too far forward or
back or if it is too
small, the symbol for
an undetected pot

appears in the display
and the cooking zone switches off.
Activating the Bridge Function

Switch on the appliance with the On/Off key

Then press the bridge function key
(within
10 seconds).

The display for the front cooking zone
shows

The display for the rear cooking zone stays
dark.

and appear next to the cooking zone
displays as confirmation that the bridge
function is activated.

Set the desired power stage for the front
cooking zone (6) in the slider panel or the
desired keep warm temperature for both
cooking zones with the keep warm stage key
(7).
The power stage cannot be set when the
bridge function is activated.
