Controlling light effects with
the remote control
Note: The transmitter in the remote control

is
located on the end opposite the battery compart-
ment.
Be sure there are no obstructions between the
transmitter and receiver

The functions are:
button: LED tape light on
button:
LED tape light off
Selection wheel
Light colour:
Move your finger over the
selection wheel and stop at
the desired light colour or
touch a location to select a
specific light colour.
button: warm white light
button:
cold white light
/ button: Brightness adjustment (9 set-
tings): Press the button to
increase the brightness. Press
the button to reduce the
brightness. The LED tape light
will stop changing when the
minimum or maximum bright-
ness has been reached.
Note: If no buttons are pressed for approx. 10 to
15 seconds, the key lock will automatically
activate. To deactivate, press the button.
Shortening the LED tape light
The LED tape

may be trimmed to size.
DANGER TO LIFE BY
ELECTRIC SHOCK! Disconnect the LED tape

from the mains before performing any work. Unplug
the mains adapter

from the socket to do so.
Remove the fixing clamp

and screws

as
shown in Fig. F.
Determine the desired length for the LED tape

Important: Be sure to trim the LED tape
6
at the right point. The cutting point is the exact
middle between the positive and negative
poles and is always marked with a black line.
Cut the LED tape
6
with scissors (see Fig. F).
Be sure the cutting point is free from grease
and is dry before attaching the end cap

to
the LED tape
6
with the adhesive

(see
Fig. G).
Check it is seated correctly and observe the
adhesive curing time of approx. 12 hours.
Mount the LED tape

as described under
section „Installing the LED tape (see Fig. A)“.
Changing the battery
If the range of the remote control

is reduced,
the battery needs to be replaced.
To do so, slide the battery compartment out of
the remote control

.
Remove the battery.
Insert the new battery.
Note: The correct polarity is indicated on the
back of the remote control.
Slide the battery compartment back into the
remote control

.
