You will need to buy the following to complete your
8*8
kit.
5- Bundles shingles (There are usually 3 bundles per square if they
want to sell it by the square)
5-10’ foot long pieces drip edge with 1” face
Floor-If floor kit was not purchased (Refer to build your own floor
instructions)
You must either purchase a floor kit or build your
own floor, it does not work to place it directly on the ground.
Optional-3-Pressure treated 4”*4”*8’
These are NOT optional
if
you want to put deck and rail in front of playhouse. Otherwise the
child door will hit the deck. These posts are to use beneath the
floor. Be sure to use one under the center splice so that the floor
does not sag. When building your own floor you only need to use
2-4*4’
Note- Deck and rail are not attached to playhouse. The deck justs
“sits” in front of the house.
Hardware Box (included with kit)
Use:
¾” Roofing nails for main part of roof.
7/8” Roofing nails for the ridge cap.
2 ½” Screws to fasten main parts of playhouse.
1 ¼” Black headed screws to fasten roof and doors.
1” White aluminum nails for outside corner trim.
