Cozy Cottage Kennel

Next install the treated 2x4 to the side of the wall

with 2 1/2” screws. This is where the flooring is

going to rest.

Next install 4x4 post and use angles to make

flush with outside corners. Fasten with 2 1/2”

screws on an angle.

Install 2x6 top plate with trim as shown. Fasten

with 2 1/2” screws every 16”.

Measure 3” as shown to place top plate and

fasten with 2 1/2” screws.

Measure 2 1/2” from the outside of the post to

the top plate as shown and fasten with 2 1/2”

screws.

This is what it should look like when the top

plates are done.
