9. Light Kit Assembly (Optional). (cont).
Locate cap in one of the hardware packs and
place cap firmly in hole in middle of switch
housing cap. Align holes in switch housing cap
with holes in switch housing, making sure to
align gap in top edge of switch housing cap with
reverse switch in switch housing for the correct
fit. Secure switch housing cap with 3 screws that
were removed at the beginning of Section 9,
"Light Kit Assembly (Optional)", (page 7). Tighten
all 3 screws securely.
Attach pull chain extension supplied or custom
pull chain extension (sold separately) to the end
of the pull chain.

If you do NOT wish to use the light kit
,
remove the hex nut and lock washer from the
threaded rod at the top of the light kit fitter.
Unscrew the switch housing cap to remove it
from the light kit fitter, and then gently feed
the
BLACK
and
WHITE
wires from the light kit
fitter (one at a time) through the hole in the
middle of the switch housing cap.
