SIGNAL WORD
Type and source of the endangerment

Measure, in order to avert the endangerment.
The signal word behind the danger symbol refers to the degree of the endangerment:
DANGER
This signal word designates an extremely dangerous situation. If the situation is not avoided, fatal injuries
are the result. The danger symbol can specify the endangerment.
WARNING
This signal word designates a potentially dangerous situation. If the situation is not avoided, fatal or
serious injuries can result. The danger symbol can specify the endangerment.
CAUTION
This signal word designates a dangerous situation. If the situation is not avoided, medium and minor
injuries result. The danger symbol can specify the endangerment.
NOTICE
This signal word designates a situation, which contains dangers for articles. If the situation is not
avoided, damages to property result. The signal word is listed without a danger symbol.
Important information is marked with an »i«.
