Bi-Fold Glass Cover Replacement
1. Align the bi-fold glass cover assembly with the slots on
the cooktop and place it into the cooktop.(Fig.10)

2. Press the backside of the bi-fold glass cover and you
will hear a click noise. The the bi-fold glass cover is now
locked into place.(Fig.11)

3. Open the bi-fold glass cover, place the cooking grate into
the 4 silicone grommets.(Fig 12)

4. Close the bi-fold glass cover. The cooktop is installed into
the cabinet.(Fig 13)

OPERATION
Lighting the Cooktop
WARNING
Keep your arms and face away from being directly above
the cooking area while in operating the appliance.
DANGER
●
The top glass cover must be kept open when lighting
and using the cooktop.
●
Do not attempt to light more than one burner at a time.
Before lighting, check and ensure all the control knobs are in
the
OFF
position. Make sure the main gas tank valve is open.
Standard Ignition
1. Push and turn the appropriate burner control knob
counterclockwise to the position. Keep the burner
control knob pushed in until the burner lights.(Fig.14)

2. Once the cooktop burner is lit, keep the ignition button
pushed in for about 5 seconds until the flame becomes
steady.
3. Rotate the control knob clockwise or counterclockwise
to adjust the flame to desired level.(Fig.15) See the
“
Burner Flame
” section for proper flame.

4. Repeat to light the other burner as required.
If the burner does not ignite:
In the event of failure to light
the burner within 5 seconds, immediately turn the control
knob clockwise to the
OFF
position. Wait at least 5 minutes
and repeat the igniting procedure. If ignition still does not
occur, use a gas lighter or a match to light the burner. Refer to
the ‘
Manual Ignition
’ section.
Manual Ignition
1. Strike and position an extended lit long wooden match, or
an extended butane lighter near the burner through the
grate spaces to light the burner. (Fig.16)
