LUBRICATING THE PULLMAN PASSENGER CAR TRUCKS

mproperly lubricated trucks may increase the drag on your locomotive. Spin the wheels by hand.
If they show any signs of drag or binding, remove the old lubricant and the accumulated dust and
dirt with Lionel Cleaner and apply a drop of fresh oil at the ends of the axles. The lubrication points
are designated as “O”. See Figure 8 below.
To keep your Pullman passenger cars trucks lubricated, we recommend that you purchase
a Lionel Lubrication and Maintenance Kit (6-62927), available from your authorized
Lionel dealer or service station.
