Operating the livestock car
F ollow these steps as you load and unload the livestock car.
1. Position the car in front of the stockyard so that the car doors line up with the stockyard
ramps.
2. Line up the livestock figures in the stockyard passage so that they are facing in the direction
of the arrows. The gate heading to the drinking corral in the center of the stockyard should
be closed. See Figure 15.
3. Open or close the stockcar door to control the livestock.
• If the center door on the side opposite of the stockyard doors is closed, the livestock will
travel through the car, entering one door and exiting the other.
• If the center door on the side opposite of the stockyard doors is open, the livestock will
remain inside the car.
4. Press the activation button connected in the previous section to start the action. The
stockyard doors will drop down, allowing the livestock figures to enter or exit the car.
Regulate the speed of the livestock by adjusting the voltage or by turning the adjustment
screw centered on the bottom of the stockyard. See Figure 16.
