Disc don't play
properly
DVD discs are region coded. Ensure the discs support Region 4.
Ensure the disc is suited to be played on the DVD player.
If using a DVD-R/RW disc, ensure the disc has been properly finalised.
Ensure that the disc has been inserted properly into the player.
Ensure that the correct input source has been selected.
You may have a defective disc. Check for any physical damage to the disc.
If the disc is dirty and has dust, smudge marks or fingerprints on it, the disc may not play. Using a soft, dry
cloth, wipe from the centre of the disc to the side in a straight line.
Try to play a couple of different discs.
Angle function during DVD playback is dependent on software availability. Even if a disc has a number of
angles recorded, they may be recorded for specific scenes only.
USB storage device
is not recognised
or media files don't
play properly
This TV has been tested with the majority of Flash memory-based devices and hard disks (media players with
HDD) on the market however, it may not be compatible with certain devices.
If the external hard drive has its own power adaptor, use it.
Only use a USB storage device formatted in a FAT32 file system provided with the Windows operating
system. If it is formatted by a different utility program that is not supported by Windows, it may not be
recognised.
The TV may not be able to recognise a USB device or read the files if it is connected with a USB extension
cable
The files that use an unsupported codec or container will not play on the TV.
Some files may not play correctly if there is an error in the content or container.
Certain files, depending on how they are encoded, may not play on the TV.
Sound may not work if they have standard bit rates/frame rates above the TV’s compatibility ratings.
