This section shows the two most commonly used homing options, how to perform the initial
homing of the servo system, and where the drive reads magnetic tape offset. Additional
homing options are available.
Dieses Kapitel beschreibt zwei meist verwendete Möglichkeiten, wie die erste Referenzfahrt
des Servosystems durchgeführt werden kann, damit der Servo Drive den Bandoffset einlesen
kann. Andere Referenzieroptionen sind ebenfalls möglich.
1 Homing to a mechanical stop
LinMot drives provide a homing procedure, which uses a mechanical block/stop for reference.
This is a simple and reproducible possibility for homing of the drive system (no additional
sensors/switches required).
For use of this mode, the mechanical system must provide a mechanical stop within the motor
stroke range.
The mechanical stop must be able to handle peak force of linear motor system.
Using the Motor Wizard, you define your required reference method, in this example:
“Mechanical Stop Negative Search” is used. The motor will move in the negative direction until
a mechanical stop is detected.
For the next step, move the axis system by hand (while the drive is inactive) to the mechanical
stop and measure the distance between slider end to stator end at one side of the motor and
enter this value.
