BATTERY
This appliance operates on 2 x 1.5V AAA batteries (not included).
TO REPLACE BATTERY
Remove the battery compartment cover and install the 2 AAA batteries. Mind the
polarity while doing so. Close the battery compartment.
TO OPERATE SCALE
Place bowl (if used) on the scale before turning on the unit.
Press and release ON/OFF button to turn on the unit.
Wait until the LCD screen shows all information.
TO CONVERT WEIGHT UNITS
Your scale is equipped with 2 measuring systems: Metric (kilograms, grams) and
Imperial (pounds, ounces). You can press UNIT to convert between the two systems
during the course of weighing. Your choice is diplayed on the LCS screen.
‘ZERO’ OR ‘TARE’ FUNCTION
To weigh different loads consecutively without removing loads from the scale. Put
the first load on the scale and get the weight reading. Press the Z/T button to reset
the LCD reading to ‘0’ before adding the next load. You can now weigh the next
load.
ALARM TIMER
The scale has an alarm timer which can be used as a cooking alarm.
Turn on the scale.
Press the T-SET button.
Press the arrow pointing up or down to set the time span. If you want to go to the
following digit press the “T-set” button again.
Press T-SET again to start the countdown.
When the timer counts down to “00:00”, the alarm will go off in the form of a “beep”.
Press the on/off button to turn off the alarm. This will also switch off the scale. If not
the alarm will sound for 2 min, after which the scale will automatically shut off.
During the countdown, you can press T-SET to stop and clear the countdown and reset
the alarm timer.
TEMPERATURE SENSOR
Current temperature is shown at the upper right corner of the LCD screen.
Temperature range: 0~+40°C
