Wiring Main Enclosure
Conduit and wiring cable assembly 1610464 is used to connect the VRI control panel to the center pivot main
control panel. The following diagrams show the factory wiring and field wiring for the VRI control panel.
Use grounding bushing 1611024 and 14 AWG Green/Yellow wire to bond the metallic Liquid-Tight conduit to the
PE ground terminal of either the main control panel or the VRI panel.
Place decal P/N 1607525 (provided in kit P/N 1507010) next to the main panel schematic decal. This decal illus-
trates the field wiring to connect the irrigation main panel to VRI Panel (P/N 1499570).
NOTE: Use shielded cable that is properly
grounded for all external connections.
NOTE 2: Purple and tan wire connections shown are for VRI
panel control of system end guns, and require VRI panel soft-
ware I/O settings of Output “OUT2” for End Gun 1, and Output
“OUT3” for End Gun 2. If VRI panel control of end guns is not
desired, use software settings of “Disabled” for both end gun
outputs, leave standard main panel to collector ring wiring for
the end gun, and cap off the unconnected purple and tan wires
of the VRI panel cable with wire nuts for safety.
