for setting pump speed on 24 V DC motor.
Filling reservoir
To bulk ill the reservoir, attach model 80933
button head coupler to the button head con-
nector (
75
) on the lower ill port. Fill reser-
voir until the grease level gauge indicates it is
full or until grease appears at the top high
level port. Remove the button-head coupler.
WARNING
Do not overpressurize reservoir during illing
process.
Failure to comply can cause damage
to reservoir, death and/or serious per-
sonal injury.
assembly (
44
) and the seat of pump check
disc assembly (
43
). Sealing surfaces of seat
must fully seal.
1
Remove hose assembly (
15
).
2
Remove entire outlet check assembly (
13
),
street elbow (
12
) and adapter (
14
).
3
Remove street elbow (
12
) and adapter
(
14
) from outlet check assembly (
13
).
4
Remove outlet connector (
48
) from
check bushing assembly (
44
).
5
Remove ball check (
45
) from outlet
connector (
48
).
6
Inspect all check components (
43
,
44
,
45
,
47
) for presence of foreign material,
scoring and or other damage, which may
cause internal leakage. Replace compo-
nents if damage is found.
7
Replace gaskets (
42
) and (
46
) whenever
outlet check assembly (
13
) is
disassembled.
8
For assembly, torque outlet connector (
48
)
and check bushing assembly (
44
) to
100 ft.lbf
(13.5 Nm)
.

Maintenance and
repair
General maintenance
•
Keep area around pump and illing port
clean, especially prior to illing reservoir,
as lubricants attract dirt and debris.
•
Keep lubricants free of contaminants.
WARNING
Before performing maintenance or ser-
vice, disconnect all hydraulic and electric
power to the pump assembly.
Failure to comply can cause death
and/or serious personal injury.
In case of system malfunction
Refer to
Troubleshooting
(
pg. 5
) for deter-
mining common problems and solutions.
Outlet check service
Refer to
Fig. 1
and
Fig. IPB1, pg. 6.
The
pump will not build up suficient lubricant
pressure if the outlet check assembly (
13
) is
fouled. Foreign material may lodge beneath
the steel ball (
47
) or between check bushing
