SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
•
The pump may only be used with water or bilge water
•
Do not run dry
•
The wire connections must be sealed with a marine sealant
•
All electrical wiring must be clamped with the connections well above the bilge water level.
•
Do not remove insulation more than necessary
OPERATION
1.
When the brown white wire is connected to the positive pole and the black wire is connected to the minus
pole the pump will start working.
2.
When the bilge water reaches a level of 45-50mm, the level switch starts the pump.
3.
When the water level has sunk to 20-30mm, the pumps stops working.
4.
If the brown wire is connected to the positive pole and the black wire is connected to the negative pole,
the pump works without automatic function.
Before start-up make sure that all hoses are correctly and securely connected and that the cables are not stretched or
bended too much. The vent connections need to be free and not blocked. Please establish the electrical power supply.
Fill water into the tank and check if the pump starts working when the bilge water reaches the second detector cell at
40-50mm. Then check if the pump stops when the water level has sunk to a level of 20-30mm and the first detector
cell is above the water level.
INSTALLATION TIPS
Installation location
•
The pump should be installed easy accessible, in order to carry out service and cleaning work easily.
•
The pump must be mounted in a horizontal position and it must be fixed at the bottom of the housing by the
mounting holes.
Inlet
•
Please check the connection diameters, before connecting the input side
•
Open the correct connecting branch by using a suitable saw.
•
Put the hose over the connecting branch and secure it with a fitting hose clamp.
Outlet
•

Secure the drain hose with a fitting hose clamp.
•
Then check if all hoses fit correctly

Visual inspection for leaks

Tight fit of all hose connectors
