scale must have a maximum capacity less than or equal to the lift unit’s maximum capacity.
Example:
A lift unit that is approved for 200 kg must be used together with a scale that is approved for at most a maximum load of 200 kg.
A lift unit that is approved for 205 kg must be used together with a scale that is approved for at most a maximum load of 200 kg.
For the assembled lift unit, including accessories, the maximum load is always the lowest maximum load rating for any of the
components.
Study the markings on the lift and lifting accessories or contact your Hill-Rom representative if you have any questions.
