DMX TERMINATION
It is recommended that a DMX data chain be
terminated at the last receiving device on the chain.
This is done by installing a commonly available 1/4
Watt, 120 Ohm resistor across the DATA - and DATA
+ wires at the last device. If you have only a few
fixtures installed very close together and with a short
run of DMX cable to the controller then you may be
able to operate without the terminator.
OPERATION
A power ON/OFF switch is located at the rear of the
unit. A display and user interface is located on the
back of the unit. This interface is used to set the
operating options and settings. It consists of an LED
display and four buttons (ESC, ENTER, DOWN, and
UP)
.
Use UP and DOWN to scroll through the available
choices. Push ENTER when you reach the option you
want to check or set. The current setting for the option
will be shown. Use UP and DOWN until you reach the
desired setting or menu then push ENTER to invoke
the new setting. Use ESC to exit from the sub menus.
DMX OPERATION
Use the Address menu to set the unit DMX starting
address. The range is 001 - 511. Due to the unit
being a 9 channel fixture the unit will not function
properly if address is set above 502.
The fixture uses 9 DMX channels allocated per table in
back of manual.
PERFORM MODE (Perform 00X)
The perform mode selects different preset colors and
intensities. DMX control can be restored by setting this
option to 000.
MASTER FUNCTION
The master function can be turned off or on. When on
units further down the DMX chain will respond the
same way as the Master unit as long as this setting is
off in the slave units.
AUDIO FUNCTION
The audio function will cycle through colors to sync
with the beat from any audio.
RESET FUNCTION
This function is not supported at this time.
