How to Install
Choose a suitable location with plenty of sunlight.
Attach the lower part of the stand with the base (B) to a concrete
or wooden surface using the screws, washers and nuts (K). We
recommend using a spanner.
Attach the shower head (D) with gasket (G) to extension pipe
(E). Attach extension pipe (E) with gasket (F) to the upper part of
the stand (A). Adjust the parts with your hands only, do not use a
wrench.
Attach O-ring (O) to the lower part of the stand (B). Attach the
hose connections (I) and (J).
Turn the locking ring clockwise to attach the two stand parts (A +
B). The handle and the shower head must be pointed in the same
direction.
How to Use
Lift the handle and turn it to the “hot” position. This ensures that
there are no air bubbles in the hoses.
Attach your garden hose to the hose connector (J). Turn on the
water to fill the outdoor shower tank. It will take a few minutes to
fill up the tank.
When the water flows out of the shower head (D), push the hand
-
le down again. The solar shower will heat up the water.
It takes about 3-4 hours for the water to heat up, depending
on the available sunlight and the outside temperature. As long
as sunlight shines on the outdoor shower, the water will remain
warm.
The water in the outdoor shower can heat up to a maximum of
60°C.
Winterization
Turn off the garden hose and disconnect it from the outdoor
shower.
Lift the handle and turn it to the “hot” position. Allow the water
to drain out of the hoses and shower, this takes about 8-10 minu-
tes. Do not turn the handle while draining, otherwise the water
will stop draining out.
Turn the locking ring counterclockwise to disconnect the upper
part (A) and the lower part (B) of the stand. Disconnect the hose
connection (I) and (J). The water can now flow out of the shower.
Dismantle the lower part of the stand (B). Pour the remaining
water out of the shower.
Clean all the parts of the shower and allow them to dry thoroug-
hly.
Store all parts in a clean and dry place.
