This instruction manual contains important information necessary for the proper assembly and safe 

use of the appliance . Read all warnings and instructions before assembling and using the appliance .

WARNING: FOR OUTDOOR USE ONLY! Do not use in any enclosed area . Use only on level non-com-

bustible surfaces away from overhanging easements .

WARNING: Do not store or use gasoline or other flammable liquids or vapors in the vicinity of this 

or any other appliance .

DANGER: If you smell gas:

1 . Shut off gas to the appliance

2 . Extinguish any open flame

3 . 3Open lid

4 . If odor continues, keep away from the appliance and immediate call your fire department .

•  Do not touch hot surfaces . Use handles or knobs .

•  Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children .

•  Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning . Allow to cool before putting on or taking 

off parts .

•  The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may cause 

injuries .

•  Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot oil or other hot liquids .

•  Do not use appliance for other than intended use .

•  To prevent griddle from being splashed or falling into water, do not use smoker within 10 feet of a 

pool, pond or other body of water .

•  Keep griddle dry and out of rain at all times .

•  Leave a minimum of 60” circumference between grill, decks, houses or any combustible materials .

•  Use heat-resistant barbecue mitts or gloves when operating this unit . Long handled, non-plastic 

utensils are also recommended .

•  Do not touch cooking chamber or attempt to move your appliance while operating or while the grill 

is hot . Make sure the fire is completely out and that the grill is completely cool before transporting .

•  Before covering your grill, make sure that the grill has cooled completely .

•  If this regulator fails, it must be replaced with the exact model . Please call customer service for an 

authorized replacement part .

•  Perform a visual inspection of the gas path, from the tank connection to the element orifices for 

any breaks, leaks, cracks or intrusions . Begin at the tank and continue to the gas line connection . 

Visually inspect the knob mechanism for similar defects . Follow the gas path to the elements . Look 

for abnormalities or cracks on the element or orifices at the center of the grill box . 

•  This appliance shall be used only outdoors, and shall not be used in a building, garage, or any other 

enclosed area . 

•  This appliance is not intended to be installed in or on recreational vehicles .

•  The use of alcohol, prescription or non-prescription drugs may impair the consumer’s ability to 

properly assemble or safely operate the appliance .

•  In the event of an oil or gas fire do not attempt to extinguish with water . Immediately call the fire 

department . A Type BC or ABC fire extinguisher may, in some cases contain the fire .

•  This appliance is not intended for and should never be used as a heater .

•  This appliance will be hot during and after use . Use insulated oven mitts or gloves for protection 

from hot surfaces or splatter from cooking liquids .
