1. Shut off water supply at source (cold
water connect or diverter valve). Turn
on the ionizer to relieve water pressure.
Shut off ionizer.
2. Disconnect 1/4” tubing from inlet and out-
let from pre-filter. Press collar in the then
pull on tubing to release.
3. Lay down the pre-filter and use the
pre-filter wrench to loosen filter from
housing. Slide pre-filter wrench from bot-
tom to top. Twist pre-filter wrench coun-
ter clockwise to loosen.
4. Remove filter housing from bracket. Discard old
pre-filter. Install new pre-filter (Some pre-filters are
directional. These will say “this side toward cap”).
5. Lube up large black
O-ring located in filter
housing next to the
threads.
6. Install filter housing with filter onto the cap.
Tighten with pre-filter wrench clockwise.
7. Repeat process if needed to your other filters.
8. Connect inlet and outlet tubing.
9. Apply water pressure.
10. Run ionizer on “PURIFY”
mode for around 3-5 minutes to flush out
pre-filter.
