Maintenance and Service
Indoor Unit
Before performing any maintenance, turn off the main power to the system, disconnect the circuit breaker and
unplug the power cord.
Clean the unit with a soft dry cloth. Do not use bleach or abrasives.
Never use any of these
• Water hotter than 40°C. It may cause deformation and discolor ation.
• Volatile substances. They may damage the surface of the air c onditioner.
Air Filters
The air filters behind the front panel / grill should be checke d and
cleaned once in every 2 weeks or more often if necessary. To
remove the filters see the self explanatory diagrams for each
model type. Clean the filters with a vacuum cleaner or warm
soapy water. If dirt is not easily removed, wash with a solutio n of
detergent in luke warm water. Dry well in shade after washing and
reinstall the filters back in place.
Plasma Filters (Optional)
The plasma filters behind the air filter should be checked and
cleaned once in every 3 months or more often if necessary. To
remove the filters see the self explanatory diagrams for each
model type. Clean the filters with a vacuum cleaner. If it is d irty
wash it with water and dry well in shade an install back in place.

• Do not washed the 3M filter with water, because the filter can be damaged.
3M multi protection Filter
The 3M multi protection filter behind the air filter should be checked and
cleaned once in every 1 month or more often if necessary. To re move the
filters see the self explanatory diagrams for each model type. Clean the filters with
a vacuum cleaner. Do not wash the 3M multi protection filter with water, because the filter
can be damaged. And then insert the filter into original position.

We suggest changing 3M multi protection filter every 6 months.
The location of the filters may differ, depending on the model.

• Pull out the 3M multi protection filter from the separately packed plastic bag.
Installation of new 3M multi protection filter
• Insert the 3M multi protection filter into the case.
• 3M multi protection filter is installed with 3M Mark front.
