iSCSI

5. Connection for CHAP certification

Open the open-iscsi set-up file “/etc/iscsi/iscsid.conf”and set up

the CHAP certification. Follow the below instructions. (The CHAP certificate pass-

word must match the password set up for the iSCSI service on the LG Network

Storage webpage.)

node.session.auth.authmethod = CHAP

node.session.auth.username = outAdmin

node.session.auth.password = password set up (Initiator Secret)

discovery.sendtargets.auth.authmethod = CHAP

discovery.sendtargets.auth.username = inAdmin

discovery.sendtargets.auth.password = password set up (Target Secret)

Activate open-iscsi.

$ /etc/init.d/open-iscsi start

If the open-iscsi was already activated, restart.

$ /etc/init.d/open-iscsi restart

The rest of the procedures are the same as for [Connection to a L
