4.3 Preferred Carrier

CSP(Carrier Selection Provisioning) Makes easier for the user
choose any carrier whenever s/he wants and mobile phones
insert automatically the chosen carrier number when a long
distance call is made.

Ex) 01199803311

11 = area code

99803311 = calling number

When making a long distance call, user has to dial a CSP
number that corresponds to the carrier s/he wants to request
the service.

0XX1199803311, XX = CSP number, 11 = area code

99803311 = calling number

Select CSP Mode

: Manual / Prompt / Automatic.

Manual Mode

: The mobile phone shall ask the CSP number

(two digits) before attempt to make a long distance call.

Prompt Mode

: The mobile phone shall display a list of

carriers that has been defined by the user before. Phone will
add the CSP number according to the chosen carrier.

Automatic Mode

: The mobile phone shall automatically insert

CSP numbers of carrier previously defined as default by the
user.
