3.10 Charger
D605 uses PMIC (Power Management IC) for charging control. The PMIC (PM8038) circuit includes the charging pass transistor
detects the VDD and VBAT voltages, and its control driver.
Charging Procedure
- Supply the VCHG use a TA or u-USB cable
- PM8038 control the charging current
- Charging current flows into the main battery
Troubleshooting Check Point
- Connection of the TA or u-USB cable
- Charging current path (Battery FET Q5000 SSM6J502NU)
- Main battery
During charging operation test point signal goes low and when stop charging goes high.
